Headliner TODD NESS
Todd Ness has quickly become one of the top stand-up comedians in Canada. He has headlined clubs across the country, including Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, Ottawa, and seemingly everywhere in between. His ability to deliver smart, funny and original material earned him a prestigious spot on Canada's largest comedy radio program, CBC's Laugh Out Loud. He has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Bryan Callen, Theo Von, Doug Stanhope and SNL’s Sasheer Zamata. He is also the winner of Yuk Yuk's 2014 funniest comedian competition, which featured a starting roster of over 100 comedians.
MC Anton Matyushin
Anton Matyushin is a standup and improv comedian based out of Calgary, Alberta, whose comedy has been described as "very brave," "I like how committed you are to your jokes," and "you kind of remind me of Peter Griffin with how long your jokes go." His unique and absurd approach to comedy has won him the 2022 Stand Up Stand-Off comedy competition at the Grindstone Theatre (Edmonton), which has allowed him to perform all across Canada and open for some nationally touring Canadian comedians. Whether he's chewing a dog toy on stage or doing taekwondo for 2 minutes straight, nothing is out of the realm of possibility in an Anton set, which is just what makes it hilarious and exciting at best, or thought-provoking college-level performance art at the absolute worst.
Featuring Zac Wiggins
Zac Wiggins is a fast-rising standup comic originally from Okotoks, Alberta. He has a perpetually startled look in his eyes and loves to joke about past traumas and embarrassing personal stories. His awkward yet open on-stage demeanour relates to the audience and never fails to leave them laughing. When Zac’s not on stage, you can catch him at the local bar making questionable life choices
